Sika Interplant Systems

Sales up 97%, net jumps up 195%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Sika Interplant Systems for the quarter ended Mar 2024 has increased 97.24% to Rs 37.16 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 13.85% to 17.73%, leading to 152.49% rise in operating profit to Rs 6.59 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 67.31% to 68.95%.   Employee cost decreased from 10.30% to 5.69%.   Other expenses fell from 9.46% to 7.82%.   

Other income rose 49.40% to Rs 1.24 crore.  PBIDT rose 127.62% to Rs 7.83 crore.  Provision for interest fell 50% to Rs 0.06 crore.  Loan funds remained nil.  Inventories declined from Rs 9.79 crore as of 31 March 2023 to Rs 5.16 crore as of 31 March 2024.  Sundry debtors were lower at Rs 10.88 crore as of 31 March 2024 compared to Rs 12.55 crore as of 31 March 2023.  Cash and bank balance rose to Rs 24.49 crore...
