Sreeleathers

Net up 7% dragged largely by 230 bps contraction in OPM

Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Sreeleathers for the quarter ended Dec 2023 has increased 22.88% to Rs 58.16 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 18.91% to 16.61%, leading to 7.93% rise in operating profit to Rs 9.66 crore.  Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 72.91% to 74.29%.   Employee cost increased from 3.50% to 3.69%.   Other expenses rose from 3.65% to 5.22%.   

Other income up 25% to Rs 0.15 crore.  PBIDT rose 8.16% to Rs 9.81 crore.  Provision for interest up 45.45% to Rs 0.16 crore.  

PBDT rose 7.70% to Rs 9.65 crore.  Provision for depreciation down 5.56% to Rs 0.34 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 8.26% to Rs 9.31 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 2.45 crore, compared to Rs 2.19 crore.  Effective tax rate was 26.32% compared to 25.47%.
