Performed well


'SRF net sales (including other operating income) of SRF has increased 6.30% to Rs 3640.19 crore. Sales of Technical Textile Business segment has gone down 11.43% to Rs 474.34 crore (accounting for 13.03% of total sales). Sales of Chemicals and Polymers Business segment has gone up 22.76% to Rs 1,666.88 crore (accounting for 45.79% of total sales). Sales of Packing Film Business segment fell 0.88% to Rs 1,408.14 crore (accounting for 38.68% of total sales). Sales of Others segment has gone down 19.48% to Rs 90.83 crore (accounting for 2.50% of total sales).

The chemicals business reported a 23% increase in segment revenue, from Rs 1,358 crore to Rs 1,667 crore during Q2FY26 compared to CPLY. Operating profit rose by 96%, from Rs 246 crore to Rs 481 crore in the same period. The fluorochemicals business reported record sales volumes for refrigerants, with prices of key refrigerants witnessing positive traction.
