Star Cement

Revenue up 10.3% YoY to Rs 718.8 crore in Q3FY2025


'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended December 2024 compared with Quarter ended December 2023.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Star Cement has increased 10.34% to Rs 718.76 crore.  

Operating profit margin has declined from 22.84% to 14.50%, leading to 29.93% decline in operating profit to Rs 104.23 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 14.74% to 22.70%.   Employee cost increased from 7.99% to 8.31%.   Other expenses fell from 55.46% to 54.70%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 19.59% to 15.74%.   Other direct service cost fell from 24.23% to 21.88%.   

Other income fell 38.98% to Rs 2.52 crore.  PBIDT fell 30.17% to Rs 106.75 crore.  Provision for interest rose 231.08% to Rs 9.8 crore.
