Sun TV Network

Revenue down 1.8% YoY to Rs 1290.3 cr, Net profit down 5.4% YoY to Rs 529.1 cr in Q1FY2026


'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended June 2025 compared with Quarter ended June 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Sun TV Network has declined 1.77% to Rs 1290.28 crore.  

Operating profit margin has declined from 54.73% to 48%, leading to 13.84% decline in operating profit to Rs 619.35 crore.  Employee cost increased from 6.33% to 6.58%.   Other expenses rose from 38.94% to 45.42%.   Selling and administration expenses fell from 7.67% to 7.31%.   Other direct service cost rose from 15.74% to 19.54%.   

Other income rose 28.62% to Rs 188.91 crore.  PBIDT fell 6.64% to Rs 808.26 crore.  Provision for interest rose 53.68% to Rs 3.55 crore.  

PBDT fell 6.80% to Rs 804.71 crore.  Provision for depreciation fell 5.19% to Rs 107.53 crore.
