Net sales (including other operating income) of Syngene International has increased 10.74% to Rs 874.5 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 21.50% to 23.60%, leading to 21.55% rise in operating profit to Rs 206.40 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 28.77% to 26.72%. Employee cost decreased from 29.44% to 29.19%. Other expenses rose from 20.04% to 21.06%.
Other income fell 2.21% to Rs 17.7 crore. PBIDT rose 19.27% to Rs 224.1 crore. Provision for interest fell 0.85% to Rs 11.6 crore.
PBDT rose 20.60% to Rs 212.5 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 4.02% to Rs 111.2 crore.
