Tata Power Company

Sales up 8%, net up 16.5%

Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Tata Power Company for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 7.88% to Rs 17095.88 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 17.30% to 20.34%, leading to 26.87% rise in operating profit to Rs 3,477.51 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 11.47% to 11.13%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 0.09% to 0.07%.   Employee cost increased from 7.03% to 7.40%.   Other expenses fell from 66.31% to 62.37%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 51.61% to 48.09%.   Other direct service cost fell from 2.08% to 1.78%.   

Other income fell 43.13% to Rs 351.07 crore.  PBIDT rose 14% to Rs 3828.58 crore.  Provision for interest rose 6.82% to Rs 1213.21 crore.   PBDT rose 17.66% to Rs 2615.37 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 7.26% to Rs 11...
