TMD active order book stands at Rs 2300 crore

LMW (formerly Lakshmi Machine Works) hosted a conference call on Jan 27, 2025. In the conference call the company was represented by V Senthil,   Chief Financial Officer, and   B. Dhanalakshmi, Senior General Manager.

Key takeaways of the call

LMW standalone TMD order book was Rs 3100 crore of which active order book being Rs 2300 crore.  OB of LMW Global is Rs 280 crore (Excluding the export order of LM standalone) and that of LMW China is Rs 22 crore.

TMD and foundry division operated on 5days working per week.  The capacity utilization is 50%.

Revenue mix of TMD for Q3FY25 was 71% domestic, 7% exports and 22% spares. 

TMD – couple of positive and negatives are happening. Slowdown experience in last one and half is unique/longest and that is across the globe. Most of the customers are running at full capacity utilization but the spread between cotton and yarn is not...
