TTK Prestige

Sales hit due to supply constraint


'TTK Prestige, the kitchen & home appliances majorhas registered a modest 5% growth in sales to Rs 636.63 crore. However OPM contracted by 20 bps to 14.2%, thus the growth at operating profit was restricted at 4% to Rs 90.66 crore. The other income was up by 22% to Rs 7.59 crore. The interest cost was down by 31% to Rs 0.87 crore and the depreciation was up by 18% to Rs 10.27 crore. Thus the PBT was up by 4% to Rs 87.11 crore. Taxation on low base stood higher by 555% to Rs 21.67 crore, the PAT was down by 19% to Rs 65.44 crore.

  • Just an early single digit growth in revenue for the period was largely due to fall in revenue from cookers while that of others product categories stand higher. Sales of cooker was down by 9% to Rs 165.06 crore but that of cookware was up by 8% to Rs 101.97 crore.
