'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Universal Cables for the quarter ended Dec 2025 has increased 26.40% to Rs 767.92 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 6.41% to 7.84%, leading to 54.48% rise in operating profit to Rs 60.20 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 75.29% to 71.01%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 1.43% to 3.63%. Employee cost increased from 4.81% to 4.92%. Other expenses rose from 11.70% to 12.76%. The Employee Benefits Expense for the quarter and nine months ended 31 sr December, 2025 includes the incremental impact of Gratuity liability amounting to Rs 6.57.64 crore as assessed by the Company, in pursuance to the four Labour Codes which have been made effective from 21 st November, 2025, in accordance with the guidance provided by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and other relevant clarifi...
