Global channel destocking and elevated pricing pressure impacted perormance


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of UPL has declined 18.69% to Rs 10170 crore.  Sales of crop protection has gone down 21% to Rs 8643 crore (accounting for 84% of total sales).  Sales of seed business was up 9% to Rs 1072 crore (accounting for 10% of total sales).  Sales of Non Agro segment has gone down 24.51% to Rs 539.00 crore (accounting for 5.26% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 97.00 crore to Rs 85.00 crore. 

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 55.16% to Rs 961.00 crore.  PBIT of crop protection segment fell 61% to Rs 712 crore (accounting for 74% of total PBIT).  PBIT of seed segment fell 13% to Rs 186 crore (accounting for 19% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Non Agro segment fell 49.60% to Rs 63.0...
