Net down 42% as OPM stay low


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of WPIL for the quarter ended Jun 2025  has increased 4.43% to Rs 378.58 crore.  Sales of Pumps and Accessories segment has gone up 15.36% to Rs 205.68 crore (accounting for 54.33% of total sales).  Sales of Project (Works Contract) segment has gone down 6.15% to Rs 172.90 crore (accounting for 45.67% of total sales).  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 39.05% to Rs 62.16 crore.  PBIT of Pumps and Accessories segment fell 41.06% to Rs 39.91 crore (accounting for 64.21% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Project (Works Contract) segment fell 35.09% to Rs 22.25 crore (accounting for 35.79% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Pumps and Accessories segment fell from 37.98% to 19.40%.  PBIT margin of Project (Works Contract) segment fell from 18.60% to 12.87%.  Overall PBIT margin fell from 28.13% to 16.42%. ...
