'Sasken Technologies for the quarter ended Mar 2020 reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 112.85 crore, a fall of 5% compared to sequential previous quarter ended Dec 2019 revenue of Rs 119.01 crore. Lower revenue for the quarter was largely due to sharp fall in revenue of North America region and APAC region. While the revenue of NA was down by 10% QoQ, that of APAC and India was down by 12% QoQ and 1%QoQ respectively.
As OPM contracted by 90 bps to 19.5% from 20.4% in sequential previous quarter the operating profit was down by 9% to Rs 22 crore. Hit further by Rs 15.17 crore swing in other income to an expense of Rs 2.67 crore, the PBIDT was down by 47% to Rs 19.33 crore. However the PBT was down by 52%QoQ Rs 16.22 crore after accounting for lower interest and flat depreciation. With taxation stay lower by 33% to Rs 6.78 crore, the PAT was down by 60% to Rs 9.45 crore.
