Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of
Container Corporation Of India for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has declined
1.56% to Rs 2,281.37 crore. Operating profit margin has declined
from 21.10% to 19%, leading to 11.36% decline in operating profit to Rs 433.46
crore. Employee cost increased from 5.30% to 5.84%. Other expenses
rose from 73.60% to 75.16%. Freight charges fell from 57.99% to
56.87%. Other direct service cost rose from 11.08% to 13.86%.
Other income up 52.87% to Rs 143.19 crore. PBIDT fell
1.03% to Rs 576.65 crore. Provision for interest fell 12.53% to Rs
16.62 crore. PBDT fell 0.65% to Rs 560.03
crore. Provision for depreciation down 3.17% to Rs 155.18
crore. Profit before tax grew 0.35% to Rs 404.85
crore. EO was nil against an expense of Rs 7.14 crore in
