sales (including other operating income) of Deepak Nitrite has declined 6.40%
to Rs 1901.89 crore. Sales of Phenolics
segment has gone down 8% to Rs 1333.46 crore (accounting for 69% of total
sales). Sales of Advanced Intermediates
segment has gone down 3% to Rs 587.84 crore (accounting for 31% of total
sales). Inter-segment sales rose 11% to
Rs 19.41 crore from Rs 17.45 crore.
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 36% to Rs
167.75 crore.
PBIT of Phenolics segment
fell 33% to Rs 144.78 crore (accounting for 86% of total PBIT). PBIT of Advanced Intermediates segment fell
52% to Rs 22.97 crore (accounting for 14% of total PBIT).
