Elecon Engineering Company hosted a conference call on Jan 9, 2026. In the conference call the company was represented by Prayasvin B. Patel, Chairman & Managing Director.

Key takeaways of the call

Order book as at 31st December 2025 stood at Rs  1372 crore [MHE Rs 561 crore; Gears Rs 811 crore] compared to Rs 1105 crore [MHE Rs 421 crore; Gears Rs 684 crore].

Order intake for the quarter ended Dec 2025 was up 7.2%yoy to Rs 701 crore [MHE Rs 237 crore (up 28.1%yoy); Gears Rs 464 crore (down 1.1%yoy)].  Order intake for 9mFY26 was up 15.4%yoy to Rs 2003 crore [MHE Rs 562 crore (up 28.3%yoy); Gears Rs 1441 crore(up 11.1%yoy)].

Material Handling Equipment (MHE) division sustained its strong growth trajectory in Q3FY26 with a revenue growth of 16.3% (to Rs 123 crore) and EBIT margin of 20.2% (against 30.9% in Q3FY25).   EBIT margin during the quarter was impacted due to unfavorable product mix. &nb...
