'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Kennametal India for the quarter ended Jun 2025 has increased 6.94% to Rs 323.40 crore.
Operating profit margin has declined from 16.10% to 15.28%, leading to 1.44% rise in operating profit to Rs 49.40 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 26.17% to 25.90%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 27.74% to 29.37%. Employee cost decreased from 13.02% to 12.25%. Other expenses rose from 16.85% to 17.15%.
Other income up 42.31% to Rs 3.7 crore. PBIDT rose 3.51% to Rs 53.1 crore. Provision for interest remained nil. Loan funds declined from Rs 3.00 crore as of 30 June 2024 to Rs 2.50 crore as of 30 June 2025. Inventories rose to Rs 294.90 crore as of 30 June 2025 from Rs 270.90 crore as of 30 June 2024.
