Net sales (including other operating income) of Sahyadri Industries has
declined 1.57% to Rs 151.43 crore. Sales of Building Material
segment has gone down 1.01% to Rs 150.41 crore (accounting for 98.80% of total
sales). Sales of Power Generation segment has gone down 31.58% to Rs
1.82 crore (accounting for 1.20% of total sales). Inter-segment
sales rose Rs 0.77 crore to Rs 0.80 crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 6.46% to Rs 7.39
crore. PBIT of Building Material segment rose 4.13% to Rs 8.06 crore
(accounting for 109.07% of total PBIT). PBIT of Power Generation
reported loss of Rs 0.67 crore compared to profit of Rs 0.16 crore.
