Net sales (including other operating income) of Vardhman Textiles has increased
3.34% to Rs 2385.66 crore. Sales of Fibre segment has gone up 21.61%
to Rs 69.38 crore (accounting for 2.88% of total sales). Sales of
Textiles segment has gone up 3.17% to Rs 2,342.32 crore (accounting for 97.12%
of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 18.77 crore to Rs 26.04
crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 4.47% to Rs 299.82
crore. PBIT of Fibre reported loss of Rs 0.86 crore compared to
profit of Rs 2.37 crore. PBIT of Textiles segment fell 3.46% to Rs
300.68 crore (accounting for 100.29% of total PBIT).
