In Q2, IT services revenue stood at US $2.6
billion with sequential growth of 0.3% in constant currency.
EBIT margin for Q2 were 16.7%, contracted
60 bps QoQ and 10 basis points YoY. Operating margins were impacted by a
one-off charge taken on account of a client bankruptcy event. Adjusted for
this, the company’s EBIT margins were at 17.2%, which is an expansion of 40 bps
YoY and is in a narrow band. The company will continue to see pressure on its margins
as it will make investment. However it will try to maintain the margin in a
narrow band.
