'Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency released a presentation discussing the landscape for renewable energy financing in India.
The outlook for India’s renewable energy sector is positive, with major policy announcements & ambitious targets. India has attained 254 GW2 of remarkable non-fossil fuel capacity. There’s a target of 500 GW2 non-fossil fuel-based energy by 2030.
The company has well diversified assets with a pan-Indian presence with lending across 23 states and 4 UTs. It has 8 states with more than 5% share in Gross Loan Portfolio. During Q3, FY 26 Rs 32,397 crore borrowings were raised. The net NPA stands at Rs 1,448 crore upto Q3 FY25-26 while the net NPA% fell to 1.68% QoQ in Q3 FY 26 as compared to 1.97% in Q2 FY 26.
