Industries consolidated net sales increased 50.49% to Rs 464 crore in Q1FY23
compared to Q1FY22. Sales of Plywood and allied products segment has gone up
56.41% to Rs 70.90 crore (accounting for 15.28% of total sales). Sales of Medium density fibreboards and alli
segment has gone up 49.47% to Rs 393.10 crore (accounting for 84.72% of total
sales).
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 117.27% to
Rs 138.37 crore.
PBIT of Plywood and
allied products segment rose 80.65% to Rs 9.84 crore (accounting for 7.11% of
total PBIT). PBIT of Medium density
fibreboards and alli segment rose 120.70% to Rs 128.53 crore (accounting for
92.89% of total PBIT).
