Expects moderation in Ebitda margins

Greenpanel Industries held a conference call on 22 July 2022 to discuss the results for the quarter ended June'22 and way forward. Mr. Shobhan Mittal, Managing Director and Mr. V. Venkatramani - CFO of the company addressed the call.

Highlights of the Concall

  • MDF and Plywood volumes are marginally higher QoQ, which is a positive beginning for the current year since Q1 is normally a weak quarter as compared to the immediately preceding Q4. Demand environment is extremely encouraging.

  • EBITDA margins were up 688 basis points to 30% due to operational leverage in both the segments, continues focus on reducing wastage, price improvements and superior product mix.

  • Net debt has reduced by Rs 77 crores during the quarter and is negative to the extent of Rs 17 crores as on 30th June 2022. Gross debt stands at Rs 208 crore as of 30 June 2022

  • MDF net sales grew by 54.1% at Rs 391.9 crore in Q1FY23. Ebitda margin was 33.3% in Q1FY23...
