Greenpanel Industries held a conference call on 08 November 2022 to discuss the results for the quarter ended eptember'22 and way forward. Mr. Shobhan Mittal, Managing Director and Mr. V. Venkatramani - CFO of the company addressed the call.
Highlights of the Concall
- The company reported good revenue growth of 11.66% YoY to Rs 456.12 crore in Q2FY23. MDF segments revenue grew 17.8% at Rs 395.09 core contributing 87% to the topline while plywood revenue saw degrowth of 16.6%. Domestic MDF performance continued to be good. However, slowdown in the export markets impacted volume.
- MDF sales volumes de-grew by 7.90% YoY to 126232 CBM due to reduction in export volumes while operating margins reduced by 106 basis points to 30.40%.
- MDF blended realization was up 28% to Rs 31299 per cubic meter. MDF domestic realization was up 23.5% to Rs 33554 per cubic meter while export realization was up 21.4% to Rs 22906 per cubic meter.
