Industries consolidated sales increased 8.31% to Rs 457.29 crore in Q2FY23
compared to Q2FY22. Sales of Plywood and
allied products segment has gone down 16.58% to Rs 61.08 crore (accounting for
13.36% of total sales). Sales of Medium
density fibreboards and alli segment has gone up 13.52% to Rs 396.21 crore
(accounting for 86.64% of total sales).
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 11.82% to Rs
123.50 crore.
PBIT of Plywood and allied
products segment fell 48.60% to Rs 5.76 crore (accounting for 4.66% of total
PBIT). PBIT of Medium density
fibreboards and alli segment rose 18.64% to Rs 117.74 crore (accounting for
95.34% of total PBIT).
