Kerala NPAs to rise by Rs 18-20 crore, rest of India NPA to decline containing overall NPA rise at 10-12 crore for Q2FY2019


'Muthoot Capital Services conducted a conference call on 27 August 2018 to discuss the impact of Kerala floods in August 2018 on the operations of the company. Madhu Alexiouse - COO and Vinod Panicker - CFO of the company addressed the call:

Highlights:

  • The Muthoot Fincorp has more than 17000 employee base, of which 5000 employees are based in Kerala state.
  • As per the company, entire Kerala staff of the group is safe and more than 95% is back to office and streets and 100% attendance is expected from 28 August 2018 post Onam festival.
  • The company has contributed to various services in the flood affected areas of Kerala, such as food supplies, house cleaning, assisting people to return to their homes etc.
  • The group has 890 branches in the Kerala state, all of which are running. Only 25 branches have been affected due to hurdle such as power cut. However, there is zero damage to any infrastructure of the entire group from ...
