Star Cement

PAT up 10x YoY to Rs 71.95 crore in Q2FY2026


'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended September 2025 compared with Quarter ended September 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Star Cement has increased 26.40% to Rs 810.94 crore.  

Operating profit margin has jumped from 14.90% to 23.45%, leading to 98.97% rise in operating profit to Rs 190.16 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 14.58% to 12.74%.   Employee cost decreased from 10.00% to 8.63%.   Other expenses fell from 60.61% to 55.69%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 18.06% to 16.05%.   Other direct service cost fell from 26.95% to 25.92%.   

Other income rose 112.88% to Rs 3.47 crore.  PBIDT rose 99.21% to Rs 193.63 crore.  Provision for interest rose 55.56% to Rs 11.06 crore.  Loan funds rose to Rs 643.17 crore as of 30 September 2025...
