Remains focused on maintaining a strong balance sheet, provisioning and healthy levels of capital


'ICICI Bank conducted a concall on 19 July 2025 to discuss the financial results for the quarter ended June 2025 and prospects of the bank. Sandeep Bakhshi, MD&CEO of the bank addressed the call:

Highlights:

The strategic focus of the bank continues to be on growing profit before tax excluding treasury through the 360-degree customer centric approach and by serving opportunities across ecosystems and micromarkets.

The bank continues to operate within the framework of values to strengthen franchise.

PBT excluding treasury grew by 11.4% yoy to Rs 15690 crore in Q1FY2026.

Total deposits grew by 12.8% yoy and were flat sequentially at end June 2025. During the quarter, average deposits grew by 11.2% yoy and 3.1% sequentially

Average CASA deposits grew by 8.7% yoy and 3.9% sequentially in Q1FY2026.

The Bank’s average liquidity coverage ratio for the quarter was about 128%.

The domestic loan portfolio grew by 12.0% yoy and 1....
