Net sales (including other operating income) of Abbott India has increased 11.60% to Rs 1,738.35 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 25.10% to 25.63%, leading to 13.96% rise in operating profit to Rs 445.59 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 8.93% to 8.07%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 47.67% to 47.97%. Employee cost decreased from 9.83% to 9.28%. Other expenses rose from 9.71% to 10.08%.
Other income up 8.18% to Rs 72.84 crore. PBIDT rose 13.11% to Rs 518.43 crore. Provision for interest up 111.64% to Rs 5.82 crore.
PBDT rose 12.52% to Rs 512.61 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 6.04% to Rs 19.48 crore.
Profit before tax grew 12.79% to Rs 493.13 crore...
