net down 52% even as sales up 22%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Salzer Electronics for the quarter ended Sep 2025 has increased 21.70% to Rs 418.92 crore.  This growth was mainly driven by higher demand for Industrial switchgear and Building products division businesses mainly due to high demand products like three phase transformers, wire harness, relays and new product like contactors etc. Operating profit margin has declined from 10.25% to 8.72%, leading to 3.54% rise in operating profit to Rs 36.55 crore.  Higher input costs and initial scaling up expenses exerted pressure on margins.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 74.15% to 77.04%.   Employee cost increased from 4.06% to 4.13%.   Other expenses fell from 11.82% to 11.26%.   

Other income fell 97.82% to Rs 0.34 crore.  PBIDT fell 27.57% to Rs 36.89 crore.  Provision for interest rose 10.53% to Rs 11.23 cror...
