CHAIRMAN'S REPORT
Dear Colleagues,
I have been contemplating for quite some time in introducing a House
Magazine for our company that would keep all the members of our
organisation informed about our current activities, achievements, new ideas
and the future plans. It is with this end in view I have pleasure in
presenting the first issue of BEEYU NEWSLETTER.
We, as you are aware, are a public limited company having our Registered
office in Kolkata. All our manufacturing activities however, are located in
South India. Starting from a humble beginning of that of a trading house,
we have grown into a manufacturing unit of repute producing one of the best
teas in South India - both CTC and Orthodox variety.
Our teas have been well accepted by the buyers from all the countries we
have exported to. This has been possible because of the untiring efforts of
all my colleagues and our green leaf suppliers. I am sure all of you would
agree the need to take the company to a greater height and, for this, we
need not only your co-operation but, active participation of each and every
member of the Beeyu family. I, therefore, request you to come forward with
your suggestions and innovative ideas that would ensure better quality,
higher productivity and cost control.
The monsoon is here which will be followed by autumm and before long the
festive season would start for all of you to enjoy. I wish all my
colleagues and their family members well and look forward to communicate
with them in the future through this column.
