Chairman's Speech

Dear Shareholders,

I am pleased to present the third Annual Integrated Report for FY2024-25 — a year marked by both transformation and resilience, showcasing our progress, strength, and strategic vision for the future. Last year, we highlighted the power of collaboration in driving meaningful change. Building on that momentum, this year's theme—"Empowering through Innovation. Where Science Meets Life"—reflects our strong commitment to delivering sustainable impact at scale by combining scientific excellence with real-world application. Whether through our ventures into bio and health sciences, expanding global partnerships, or investing in digital R&D ecosystems, we are positioning ourselves to lead the next phase of value creation across the life sciences continuum.

The macroeconomic landscape is still influenced by global economic shifts, changing geopolitical relationships, and fast-paced technological innovations. While inflation pressures are easing, uncertainties surrounding supply chain robustness, regulatory shifts, and trade policy changes require companies to stay flexible and forward-looking. This year has been marked by evolving international dynamics—altering geopolitical alliances, increased forex fluctuations, reciprocal tariffs by major economies like the U.S., and a strong push to realign supply chains across various sectors. These elements continue to reshape trade and investment patterns, pressing businesses worldwide to be more adaptable. At PI, we proactively respond to this volatile environment by adopting an innovation-driven strategy, utilising data insights and advanced research to strengthen our competitive edge.

As we expand our footprint into biologicals and life sciences, we remain steadfast in our vision to pioneer next-generation sustainable solutions. Our investments in R&D, innovation, and strategic partnerships are reinforcing our position in AgroSciences, pharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals - making sure that we stay planted in our present while taking a leap into our future.

What remains unchanged is our commitment to sustainability and shared progress. We are integrating climate action, circularity, and resource efficiency into our operations while fostering inclusive growth through innovation. It is this combination of purpose and performance that shapes our path forward.

None of this would be possible without the trust and unwavering support of our stakeholders—our employees, shareholders, customers, partners, and communities. Your belief in our journey fuels our resolve to explore deeper frontiers of science, pioneer meaningful solutions, and deliver progress that touches lives in real, lasting ways. As we move forward, it is this shared purpose that will continue to guide us—toward a future shaped by knowledge, driven by care, and inspired by the possibilities of innovation.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
