SHRI BAJRANG ALLOYS LIMITED
ANNUAL REPORT 1999-2000
CHAIRMAN ADDRESS
Dear Shareholders,
I am happy top present the financial result for the period ending 31st
March 2000. For 18th month ending 31st March 2000. Shri Bajrang has
reported a net income of Rs.85.58 Lacs on the net operating revenue of
Rs.6814.11 Lacs as compared to the last years Rs.96.05 Lacs on Rs.4302.35
Lacs. Sales has growth around 6% comparing the last years figures duty
enhanced prorata for 18 months. This growth is encouraging but bottom line
has squeezed due to reduced margin and upward cost of production. Fierce
competition in the market has shown its impact Higher credits, slow
realisation and other other factors are pressing hard this industry as a
whole and despite good signs of overall stability, the economy is not
gaining the momentum to boost up the morale of the industries. However for
us the completed period of mixed feeling.
We are trying to include new marketing areas and are successful in getting
good orders from Eastern as well as Northern Zone which was earlier
untapped. This is a good beginning and Company will enjoy the benefits in
coming years.
ERC Division has completed the Railway orders and is waiting for new orders
to be released by them. It is expected that good orders from Railway as
well as some private parties will materialise soon.
Our inner strength and good financial position is core of our success. I
sincerely hope that your wholehearted support will continue to guide us to
achieve new heights and to serve the nation in building up infrastructural
sector. Let us join hands in welcoming the new millennium in our 10th year
of operation.
